Jack and Jill.

Greetings!

One of my colleagues requested me to knit a pair of dolls, a boy and a girl either sitting or standing together. So, I decided to knit Jack and Jill.

This is made from one of Jean Greenhowe's books called, 'Favorite dolls and toys'. I enjoyed making these, I hope my colleague will like these as well!

Will be back soon!

Mrs. Tittle mouse.

Greetings!

Among all the stories of Beatrix Potter Mrs. Tittle Mouse is my favorite. Mrs. Tittle Mouse is very hard working, organized and disciplined mouse. She loves keeping things in order and maintaining a clean and tidy home.
This is made out of fabric and I have used fabric paint to paint the doll. The doll fits snugly in this tiny bag, which is also painted.

I love these beautiful illustrations by the author.

I just fell in love with this beautiful cottage of Mrs. Tittle mouse.

These pictures show how much Mrs. Tittle Mouse care about cleanliness.
COCKROACHES! Nobody can tolerate them including  Mrs. Tittle Mouse.
She is getting rid of SPIDERS!
Even BEES are not entertained.
When Mr. Jackson visits unexpectedly, she is cleaning his foot marks.
Few more un-invited guests.....
Finally she got to sit down and take rest....
Mrs. Mouse definitely deserves a party! She is keeping everything ready for a grand party and ball dancing..... Only her friends are invited of-course!

🐀 Happy crafting!

Mary had a little Lamb

Greetings,
Finally, I am back with my latest project after a long  time. These last three months were quite hectic, moving to a new place, settling down etc, now I also have a day job. But in spite of a busy life style I kept knitting in my free time.
Knitting and reading in my office bus while travelling to work is a fun thing. I finished this nursery themed doll.
This doll is based on a famous nursery rhyme, 'Mary had a little lamb'. As usual, this cute pattern is from one of Jean Greenhowe's books called 'Favorite toys and dolls'.
I am very happy that I chose this project. This is sure to bring a smile on people's faces.
Will be back soon with my next project which is almost ready.

Happy crafting!
