Cinderella Topsy-Turvy Doll.

Greetings!

Finally!!! I finished making this Topsy-Turvy Cinderella, for my childhood friend. This is designed by the master designer Jean Greenhowe. I feel so happy and satisfied after I knit one of her dolls. Cinderella can be transformed from patches to ball gown, by turning the skirts upside-down. What a fantastic idea!!!! Jean is my biggest role model........I just love her color choices, just unbeatable.....

After making the doll, I feel like keeping it for myself 😛😝😜.........

Will be back soon with my next doll.......

Autumn mouse.

Greetings!
Summer is almost coming to an end. The days are getting shorter and nights are getting cooler. 'Autumn' is almost here, so I decided to knit this Autumn mouse. It goes with out saying, it's a Jean Greenhowe's  pattern! :).

I am quite thrilled to knit some mice off late. I am knitting some mice based on a story book and this Autumn mouse is a part of that project. I will soon be writing in detail about my next project.
Till then........
You all have a wonderful crafty hours!

Bride and Groom....

Greetings!

Wedding bells just rang to Bob and Chris. The whole of Dumping village were gathered in this celebration. Everyone rejoiced at the wedding of this beautiful couple and showered their blessings on this newly married couple. The couple got married in the Dumpling Village church.

The Bridegroom looked  handsome and was waiting for the arrival of the Bride at the church gate. The entrance of the church was decorated with the red carpet and was showered with the red roses. Since it was summer the day was bright and sunny, and it was a beautiful day to get married.

As soon as the bride entered there was so much joy and excitement! The bride looked beautiful in her wedding gown. The wedding gown was designed and made by one of the famous fashion designers of the Dumpling Village.

The couple entered the church together, and then they took their wedding oath. After the wedding the couple cut the cake and there was a grand wedding celebration, food and drinks were organized for the guests.

The guest list includes: Lord Lancelot ( Little Dumpling Village Manor) his wife Lady Letitia. Their dogs Rascal and Macintosh, Mrs. Mopitup, Wenifred the wool shop owner, Daphne Dabble the artist, Miss Muffin, Farmer Wolly, Benjamin Bakewell, Samuel Sprout and Harold the handy man.
The culinary services were provided by Miss Muffin's tea shoppe and Benjamin Bakewell's bakery shop.
Over all it was a wonderful memorable wedding. I wish a very Happy married life!  to this wonderful couple.

I made these dolls to gift an American couple who got married recently.

Will be back soon with my next project. Till then...

Little Bunny's shopping trip....

Greetings!

Today Mummy Bunny decided to make some thing special for dinner and surprise her husband and her daughter. But when she opened the fridge, she realized that she is out of many things. Was she disappointed? No, she decided to go to the supermarket and get what ever she wanted.
But, what about the little Bunny? Daddy is at work, the older Bunny is at school, and can she find a baby sitter at the last minute? Answer is obviously 'No'. So she decided to take the little Bunny along with her.
It was a big surprise for this little one. This is indeed her first visit to a super market. The little Bunny was so excited to see hundreds of people, so many things around her, most of all she really enjoyed her ride on the shopping cart.
Mummy Bunny managed all her shopping with out any difficulty. At the end 'All is well'!.

I had collected many cardboard boxes at home. Also I keep getting some grocery coupons and news paper adds in my mail box. So I decided to make some fun things for my dolls. This simple shopping cart is made out of blue berry box. It actually doesn't look like a real shopping  cart, but I guess it works fine for my dolls ;).

Will be back soon with my next project.

Bunny Family's new arrival.

Greetings!

I am so excited to announce a wonderful news about the Bunny Family. Bunny Family welcomed their new bundle of joy, few days ago. Among all the dolls that I have made, Bunny Family is one of my favorites. When I saw this Bunny Family on Jeangreenhowe's website, I went mad. I bought the book called 'The Toy Collection' because of the two things that amused me in the book. One, 'The Bunny Family' and the other one, 'Grandpa and Grandma HumptyDumpty'.

Few days ago, an idea occurred to me that I should make an itty-bitty girl bunny doll, so that the big sister bunny will have a company to play with. So here she is, happily enjoying in this handmade baby carriage.

I felt so much joy to make this little Baby Buggy. The blanket is knitted. The little bunny's bunny doll and the feeding bottle are purchased.(Calico critters)

This is how I imagined this Bunny Family to be.

I found the pattern for this itty-bitty bunny from  'Little cotton Rabbits'. This doll is very easy to knit and can be finished in a jiffy.

Will be back soon with my next doll :)

Miss. Peggy.

Greetings!

I finally finished this custom order. It was quite fun to make a personalized doll. Miss. Muffin, of Dumpling village is again made with slight variation. The person who ordered this doll, wanted Miss. Muffin to resemble her. So this doll is called Miss. Peggy. The doll is having a blonde hair and holding a coffee mug, instead of a tea pot to show that she is a 'coffee lover'.

I had to make up the mug, since there was no pattern for 'mug' in the book. I thought it turned out fine. Below is the picture of original 'Miss. Muffin'.

Miss. Peggy was quite happy and she will keep this doll in her kitchen.

Finally will be working on 'The Victorian family' :)

Donut Delight.

Greetings!

Real life donuts are delicious and enjoyed all over the world. But they have never been as entertaining or as much fun as this knitted version! This adorable doll, turn the Donut into unique creation. Moreover, they can be made to celebrate and commemorate special dates and occasions.
I made this for one of our friends son who will turn one next week. I made this doll from Jeangreenhowe's 'Donut Delights'.

To add to the enjoyment, the Donuts also serve as sweetie containers! Packed with small lollypops, candy canes and sticks of rock they are perfect for children's party treats. Or why not include a mixed selection of goodies for an individual gift?
This is a picture from the book to show how the donuts serve as sweetie containers.

Will be back soon with my next project :)

Fireman.

Greetings freinds,

Fireman was my next custom order after the 'Sailor'. I enjoyed making the doll as usual and my customer was happy as well :)

This is the picture of my happy customer :)

I also made a greeting card as a complementary gift. This doll will be a gift for a one month old baby boy :)

Finally I would love to include all the comments I received from my knitting forum. Sometimes I add the comments to the post later and whenever I edit the blog, my subscribers might receive an email again. I really apologize for that. Some times I receive the comments after I post the blog so I include the comments later on.

You all have a great crafty week!

How wonderfully adorable he is! You did a great job of this fireman. Is he for someone special?

When Jesus is more than merely useful — when Jesus is ultimately, supremely, beautiful — who doesn’t have time to slow and see and thank Him?
