Greetings,
After reading Anne of Green Gables, I fell in love with Anne. I started reading the next book, Anne of Avonlea. Although I have not finished the book, I did like one of the scenes from the book. This is all about Anne selling Mr. Harrison's cow thinking that it's her's and then repenting it at leisure.
Mr, Harrison had warned Anne to make sure that her cow does not go to his farm and ruin his crops. However, Anne's cow does not behave herself and still goes to Mr. Harrison's farm to eat those vegetables and other things growing in his farm. So Anne, locks her cow inside the cow shed to make sure that her cow does not come out.
When Anne sees her cow grazing in her Irate Neighbor's farm, she is surprised that her cow has broken the door of the shed and come out. She also gets annoyed with her cow and decides to sell it. After she sells the cow and gets back home, she realizes that her cow is still in the shed and by mistake she has sold Mr. Harrison's cow. Since, Anne's cow is so identical to Mr. Harrison's cow this misunderstanding happens.
Anyway, Anne decides to bake a cake and give it to Mr. Harrison and tell this terrible news.
Although, he is a terrible outspoken old fellow, he invite's Anne, smiling sheepishly, and accepts the cake and the money that was earned by selling the cow. He puts on a kettle and they both enjoy a warm and nice cup of tea.
I love tea parties! This is a lovely chapter, this chapter can become a short story itself. I made these out of felt. This project was simple, yet enjoyable!
Below is the photo with a letho effect.
I am looking forward to make more scenes like this.
Happy Crafting!
