First of all, I am very happy to be back blogging again after a long break. I started my doll making again with this beautiful project from ‘Fairy tale knits’ by Fiona Goble.
The set includes four enchanting characters: Beauty, the Beast who turns into a handsome Prince, and the Sisters.
Beauty:
She is beautiful, kind hearted, intelligent. Like any girl she had a dream of falling in love with a handsome and a loving man. However, she ended up loving a Beast instead. A perfect example of a Stockholm syndrome!
The Beast:The real beauty is on the inside, and it doesn’t matter what a person looks like from the outside. This Beast is ugly, but inside him there is a lovely person struggling to get out!
The Prince:Because of Beauty’s kindness and love, the ugly monster turned into a loving handsome Prince! After all, love can move mountains!
The Sisters:Sometimes, our siblings can be our own enemies and these two sisters of Beauty is no different. Their jealously and wickedness couldn’t stop Beauty from marrying the handsome loving Prince. Always, love, kindness and honesty wins over jealousy and wickedness!
All in all, I had a great time knitting these dolls and taking their pictures.
