Greetings friends!
Sailor is preparing to go to the sea on the quayside.
From last one week I was busy making this sailor, and I had to abandon my earlier projects I was working on for some time. This is a custom order by my leasing office manager for her niece's newborn baby boy 'Luca'.
I had a tough time embroidering his name on the hat of the doll since I am not good at embroidering. Some how nailed it, but it's quite imperfect. My customer was happy though :)
This is of course designed by Jeangreenhowe, this is from her book 'Mascot Dolls'. I always love the details in her patterns. I love this display stand. The stone wall, a Bollard, sea gull, rope, everything is a great idea.
This is the first time I made a doll for a new born baby. I hope, that this doll will provide a fun-filled environment promising hours of creative play.
I also decided to make a greeting card at the last minute, as a complementary gift for my customer :)
Finally here is the picture of my happy customer.
I have two more custom orders to finish and then will get back to my earlier projects.
Will be back soon with my next doll.
Rev Burgandy!
